Description For Prospective Staff:
Arcadia Healthcare staff will be responsible for managing our busy healthcare center. We are seeking a Head Nurse with RN certification who has previous experience running a camp health center. We are also seeking 2-3 assistants with RN, LPN, EMT or Nursing student qualifications.
The role consists of administering primary care to our campers, being in contact with parents, taking children to the hospital (20 min. away), doctor/dentist visits. Our counselor staff are generally self sufficient with their own personal medical care. There will be some nights on-call.
We offer salary, private and semi-private accomodations, room and board,
time off, a travel allowance and we can accomodate children.

Information For Job Candidates With Camp-Aged Children
Description For Parents:
We offer 22 different activities for campers to choose from. All campers participate in our basic activities: swimming, canoeing, campcraft and boating. Campers will live in a rustic but comfortable cabin with other campers and 2-3 counselors. Campers enjoy lots of special camp events, as well as free time in the evenings and on Sundays.
Featured Activities for Campers:
Sailing, Arts and Crafts, Horseback Riding, Kayaking, Weaving, Drama, Music, Nature, Knitting, as well as Waterfront activities, and hiking and canoe trips.
Other Camper Activities:
Special all camp events (carnivals, Olympic Sunday), Camp Birthday, cabin bonding nights, pajama breakfasts, dances with boys camps, the chance to compete against other camps in certain activities, local road race, drama productions, activity demonstrations etc.
