Description For Prospective Staff:
Camp Danbee is a private, residential, summer camp for girls located in Western Massachusetts. We are affiliated with two brother camps located near us, Camps Mah-Kee-Nac and Winadu for Boys. We offer many different activities at Danbee including all team sports, individual program activities such as Tennis, Archery, Figure skating, and Horseback Riding. Other activities at camp include Arts&Crafts, Digital Photography, Yearbook/Newspaper,Ropes and Climbing and lakefront activities including waterskiing, sailing, windsurfing and kayaking. We have two heated swimming pools at Danbee where campers are taught by American Red Cross trained staff.
All counselors at Camp Danbee are specialists who teach in a program area and live with kids in a bunk. Camp Danbee is an excellent place to work with kids and meet people from all over the world.
We have a health center on-site and hire 5 nurses to live and work at camp for the summer. We always have a doctor on duty.

Information For Job Candidates With Camp-Aged Children
Description For Parents:
Campers live in cabins of 8-10 girls with 2 or 3 counselors per bunk. Younger campers have assigned schedules which feature a variety of activities, as girls get older they are able to select the activities they want to participate in. We are very spirited and fun. Girls who are energetic and like to be busy do well at Danbee!

We have a wide range of activities - sports (tennis, soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, softball, field hockey, golf and more); gymnastics; dance; arts 'n crafts and pottery; lakefront (waterskiing, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, windsurfing); theater; community service projects and more!
Other Camper Activities:
We have many special events days, color war that lasts the whole summer, day and overnight trips to the surrounding areas, and we specialize in surprises!!

We are a full-season camp with 90% of our kids coming back for the full 7-week session.
