Description For Prospective Staff:
Spend your summer in a lakefront cabin in Maine. If you're looking to spend this summer outdoors, have fun while you work, and make
lifelong friends, then look no further. Camp Mataponi, a residential
girls camp in Maine, has nursing positions available for the summer of 2009. Health center has 4 private rooms for nurses, kitchen and laundry facilities, exam room plus a camp doctor on site at all times. We have a completely automated database that simplifies camper health call visits. We encourage our nursing staff to be apart of camplife and get involved with special events and all camp activities. The more involved our nurses are with every day camp life, the more fun they have and the more they feel connected to the campers and other staff. Aside from hands on nursing experience, it is imperative that our nurses are kid friendly, caring and interested in coming to camp for more than just a job. Check out our website today at:

Information For Job Candidates With Camp-Aged Children
Description For Parents:
Children of camp age will live in a cabin with other campers in a cabin and have access to all activities with structured programs as well as electives.
Featured Activities for Campers:
Ropes course, waterskiing, tennis, landsports, arts and crafts (pottery wheels, crafts, jewelry making), sailing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, theater, horseback riding
Other Camper Activities:
gymnastics, dance, cooking, tae kwon do, hiking, tripping photography, videography, fitness training
